Granted I'm not yet in the market for stuff for "tweens" (I shudder even thinking about that stage), but I am learning that even my five-year-old cousin's tastes run wayyy more sophisticated than Care Bears and My Little Pony. Who knew? When I was ten years old I still wore Osh Kosh overalls and carried a Cabbage Patch Kid everywhere. So I was intrigued to learn about the Los Angeles shop Juvie. Juvie which features hip, modern clothing and accessories (with lots of cool indie designers) for boys and girls sizes 7-14. There is also a great selection of gifts, toys, and activities for this hard-to-shop-for age group (and, actually, you'll see that you'd love some of this stuff for yourself, too).
