J Crew - Allura shift dress in superfine cotton

J Crew's Allura shift dress in superfine cotton (34304, $158) runs 0-14. Regular sizes only. Color options are beechwood, graphite and navy. It's currently on promo for $125. You can gamble for an additional 30%, but keep in mind they may bump the price up if a promo kicks in.

Size 4 - The size was good. I usually wear a 4 or 6P in J Crew dresses. I really liked this dress. I can't tell you what I was wearing underneath that shows a line. Maybe a camisole or tank?

Side view to show you how you might show a peeksie of your cleavage. I don't think it's too low, but you could still share more than you want in certain environments. For me (5'2"), it might help to have the straps taken up. If I did that, I'd also get it shortened an inch or so. Well, actually, I'd try it w/heels first. I doubt I'd ever wear this w/flats.
