Striped sweater dress (250414) - Size PM - 50% acrylic, 50% merino wool. hand wash - Thumbs up on this dress. I might have been able to wear a PS but I wouldn't want it to be tight. The PM gave just enough slack and it was still fitted across the backside. Check it out on Petite Early Morning Style.
Faux wrap sweater dress (253684) - Size PM - 51% acrylic, 49% merino wool, handwash
I usually don't like wrap dresses for the obvious fact that tey highlight my stomach. I am finding Loft items to be a problem for me in this area. Many tops are either voluminous or close to skin tight. The dress isn't skin tight, but the way the wrap sits is unflattering & it's not adjustable. I guess that's what the Assets firming slip is for.
Sculpted sheath dress (249106) - 6P - I am a sucker for black sheaths. I saw this online a week or two ago and didn't get it. I was so happy to see it in-store. I ended up w/the 4P (not pictured). I want to try it w/a striped long sleeve shirt and brown belt. I love black & brown. Oh -- it's $74.99 + 50% off.
Chiffon Trim Pocket Sheath Dress (249235) - Size 6P - This dress is very 60s Mad Men. Very cute concept. It struck me as very vintage and I can see someone working it w/a cute haircut or chignon, red lipstick & cute Mary Jane pumps. It was $49.99 + 50%, but I didn't get it. It grabbed me in the wrong place, plus it was sooooo thin and offered no support or give. Perhaps a slip would help so the garment can move a bit and not get stuck to tights.
It could be worth it to put Loft in your schedule if you're out and about. I think the pickings are better in-store than online. Well, at least they were in my area. Be sure to check out the clearance jewelry while you're there. It's also an additional 50%. The 30% new arrivals ends on Monday. My guess is the 50% additional will end at the same time, but I don't know for sure.
