J Crew's Bevin blouse (35699, $88) runs 0-12. The color choices are mossy oak & white ash.
Size 4 - I liked this top more than I expected. I don't $88 like it w/wrinkles like this just from trying it on. Like the scalloped bottom & liked the embroidered dots. Notice the sleeve is elastic. I don't recall it being tight on the arms. I'd say my arms are medium. Check it out on Found In My Closet (pic#4), on One Cat Away From Crazy, on Shopping On the Fly and on Yogagirl.
Size 4 - This color doesn't offer much contrast w/my skin color, but I like it w/the jeans, boots & pale turq ring I happened to have on that day.
So after our talk about overshopping, I got busy doing stuff. I had long been planning to do some things and was in the middle of doing others...you know how it goes. However, this time I actually gave a resounding yes in some cases -- not a mmm, ok or maybe -- and what a difference a solid yes has made in my life. I know I'm being vague, but I have to. What I can definitely share is that if you have something you've been thinking about doing, go for it. Just take the first step. Whatever you think that is. I did and cannot believe the doors that opened up as a result. It's like I opened one door and when I stepped inside, a row of doors flung open to the right and left of me and I walked thru with ease. I've been amazed. And very busy. Re blogging, I've done a couple of J Crew runs, so I'll probably work out of those pics to continue content. I think you'll be seeing that over the next week and not much else. Just know that I'm busy & it's all good. :-)
