Gap - 30% cardholder promo

Gap family cardholders can use GCSTYLE for 30% off regular price items & 15% off sale items thru 10/3.

Gap's tweed funnel jacket runs in regular sizes only. I'm really surprised. Some will be sized out because it runs big imo.

Size 2 - I don't know what the model is doing. This is how you work it, girl.

Bam!

 Pop!

 Bam!
Ok, not an exciting pose. Just showing the sleeve length.

I liked the jacket. The tweed is nice and it's thick. At least to a Californian. I definitely came home and looked for petites online to consider it further. Thankfully I found a divine little number from Forever 21. It's sold out online. It's only $34.80. It has 3/4 sleeves or bracelet sleeves, which works well for us that are not tall. The F21 jacket looks a lot like this one, but it's a bit longer, like a topper. Look for it in-store. More from Gap...

* Boy fit pants - I'm into the looser fit for pants right now. These get slimmer towards the ankle to end in short of a stack. Just trying to translate what I read. I get it. If you read the description, you will too. I guess the high poly content is a cost cutting measure. I have mixed feelings about the fabric. I do have some suits that have a poly blend, I think. Poly is either a workhorse or it pills. It's hard to know what mood the sisters will be in.

* Perfect bootcut cords - Love the chipmunk color.

* Pleated skirt - What a nice looking basic. With pockets. Fuller skirts are nice. I have to try them to find the right ones. Y'know, it's not always a slam dunk for me.

* Safety pin cableknit cardigan - Boo for being 70% acrylic, but I like the look.

* Shoulder zip pullover - This would be a great bargain with the 30%. I think this is an item Gap would do very well.

* Turtleneck sweater - 100% cotton, for those that prefer it over wool. This also means you can machine wash w/out incident. It comes in caaaaamelllll (camel). I take that back. It's actually oatmeal. The peony is pretty and there is red for you heart lovers. I'm pretty sure I'm going to order black. I have a 100% merino wool turtleneck sweater by Charter Club and it has some fuzzing. I very much dislike fuzzing.

* Woven georgette ruffle top - Ok, we've seen this before. It's a cotton/modal, so it could be clingy. It caught my eye, though. I think what I like is the color. Right off the top of my head, I'd put a cognac brown belt over it and try it under a black suit with black pumps. I'd swap the belt for a leopard one if the brown didn't work.

* Zip mariner top - Stripes!

If you've made it to the bottom of this post, good! Cardholders, enter GCSTYLE for 30% off regular, 15% off sale. Then try to stack GAPSAVE for an additional 25% off regular priced items. I believe GAPSAVE ends today, 10/1.

If you do not have a Gap family card, no need to enact a ban. Use GCSAVE or GAPSAVE for 25% off regularly priced Gap items, plus free shipping on your purchase of $50 or more. I'm doing my best w/the codes here, but starting to get confused. I do know this would be the time to see if the codes can be used on big ticket items like this leather jacket. There's also a grey version of it.
