Six Years

Six years ago tonight, I became a mother. That night, I never would have predicted the challenges (or joys) that lay ahead of my daughter and me. I am so proud of how far she has come- particularly this past year- and so thrilled to see her enjoying all of life's pleasures. Many times in the past I could not have pictured my daughter squealing with glee as she danced across a beach...but, here it is. If a picture is worth a thousand words, I could listen to this one over and over. Happy 6th Birthday to my unique and beautiful R....I love you so much!
