Quilted mini bags

Some time last year, Fabulous Florida Mommy showcased a cute, quilted crossbody tote from Asos. I ordered it and didn't wear it until recently. I just wasn't sure about the color, which is silly because it's a neutral. I think I'm more accustomed to see quilted handbags in black. As far as the style, I really appreciate a wearable clutch. Crossbodys are good because they allow you to have both hands free.

I was able to fit my Fossil wallet hand sanitizer, MAC lipstick & gloss and Bath & Bodyworks room spray (public restrooms!) inside. In the interior pocket, my cell phone & camera fit. It felt a little heavy the 2nd day I used it and I don't want to stress out the chain. I may leave out the wallet in future uses and carry only a couple cards + my ID.

I recently saw Water for Elephants. Based on the previews, I knew the aesthetic would be beautiful and it was. As far as the acting, I'm not a huge Reese Witherspoon fan, but I don't have an aversion either. They must've shot mostly in order because she was phoning it in, in the beginning -- not really connected. Then she got better as the movie progressed. She and Robert Pattinson had chemistry. RPat is nice on the eyes. Not anyone I would have ever sashayed in front of, but I don't mind to look from afar. I think he's lucky to have been able to move into new movies after having played Edward in the juggernaut that is the Twilight series. I think the fact that he played those movies in a costume (white vampire m/u & contacts) helps disconnect him from the series and allows him to be a new character. I don't think of those movies when I see his new work. But he's worked back-to-back in a string of movies and that shows. He has quite a bit of talent, but I don't think it's being enhanced by any life experience. Going from movie to movie is not living in the real world. I imagine his growth is stunted a bit with people running around doing everything for him. Without some personal enrichment outside of movie sets, RPat makes some of the same facial expressions. Some the same as he did in Harry Potter Goblet of Fire, which is from eons ago. But enough about him. What about Christoph Waltz?!! He is an amazing villain. I didn't see Inglourious Basterds, but I can see why he swept all of the awards for it. He really brought August to life in a way that the book didn't. I read the book & think Sara Gruen did an excellent job. However, the way Waltz layers the character, you see why Marlena stays. There were some other solid performances by supporting actors, including the animals. If you like romantic scenery & storylines with a a touch of humor, this one might be one to catch in while it's in the theatres.

Anyone read the book, see the film...love quilted mini bags?
