J Crew - matchstick jean in lived in wash

J Crew's matchstick jean in lived in wash run in regular sizes 24 short & regular to 33 short & regular (28163). They're also available in tall 26 - 33 (29258). Regular price $108. They went down to $29.99 in-store as of April 2011.

Size 29 short -I tried these on back in April and, at that time, was still fitting into my regular pants. I usually wear 29 in J Crew bottoms and these fit. I'm inclined to say get your regular size, but they don't seem fitted for a matchstick. They felt very comfortable and I looked at them more like a straight cut jean than matchstick. Personally, I would probably get the 29 instead of sizing down. Although if you have a slim build, you might want to do so. Check them out on Ema and on Heidi G.

I've been really happy w/my J Crew jeans. I have the ankle stretch toothpick jean (irl pics) and loooove them. the fit is great & I've worn, washed & dried them regular without incident.
