I've posted before about Heirloom Wooden Toys, a MyMomShops affiliate that sells wonderful high-quality wooden toys for kids of all ages (it's where I bought the deluxe activity cube that keeps both my infant and preschooler occupied for hours). In the past few weeks, Baby S. has become somewhat obsessed with this Classic Mini Spin Wooden Rattle ($7.95) which- with its lovely simple hardwood design- is a cut above the plethora of plastic toys I buy him at the drugstore. It has child safe and chew safe finishes (and boy does Baby S. take advantage of that- he is teething and though I wouldn't have guessed this was a good teething toy, turns out it is).
