Tee (M): J Crew dazzling deer art

No, I didn't get the reindeer tee. It definitely spoke to me, but I couldn't understand what it was saying. Check out the tee on The Girliest Boy Mom.

Merino and mohair shawl-collar cardigan (29187) - Size S - 100% merino wool, collar & placket are 58% mohair, 34% nylon, 8% wool. This one isn't a part of the 25% promo. It's already marked down to $79.99 and should stay that way, but you never know with the J to the C. I like it ok, but not. The buttons are small in scale and could be just a smidge bigger. They almost look like mean little eyes being so dark against the grey.

I also wasn't a fan of how fuzzy the mohair looked. Surely this will not improve as time goes on. And finally, it was just thin & felt floppy -- esp for the price. I would try Gap's shawl-collar cardigan instead.

Crystal bead cardigan (30710) - Size S - This color is called heather seaweed (HSE). 45% acrylic, 37% super fine alpaca, 18% merino wool. A bit short, no?

Dream glistening placket cardigan (32164) - Size S - Black. 55% wool, 30% nylon, 15% cashmere. There isn't much versatility to this one because if you unzip it 1/4 of the way, the sequins make the sweater flap. It's not like you can fold it open and have it still look nice. I thought about trying it with a collared top underneath, but that didn't make sense when I tried it on. It's a fitted sweater and that includes the arms. I wouldn't buy it, personally, but I give it a thumbs up.

Merino turtleneck sweater - See last year's version in these pics.

Shadow-flecked turtleneck sweater - Merino wool/nylon/alpaca/Lycra - It looks cozy. I have a feeling the model is cool looking w/the sequin pants and I wouldn't really like the sweater irl. The flecked aspect might look dirty.

Merino sparklegate cardigan (35833) - If you were one of the ones that snapped this up, maybe you can tell us all about it. Only XXS remains. In the interim, we will review what the copywriters had to say --

* Dream jewel-toggle cardigan - This looks really pretty. No mention of acrylic. Wool/nylon/cashmere in a 5-gauge knit.
