German toy manufacturer Haba is quickly becoming a favorite in my house. I mostly knew about their wooden toys (which I've posted about here before) but turns out they also make some lovely plush toys for infants, too. We just received some great items including this Dragon's Egg ($12.49) from Oompa.com. The dragon has a baby-friendly face and makes a sweet rustling noise as it hatches out of the "egg." A Velcro loop means it's easy to attach to a stroller or high-chair. The dragon and egg are both made of plush cotton/polyester velour. Though the toy is suitable for ages 6 months and up, both my 9-month-old son and almost-4-year-old daughter LOVE watching the dragon "hatch" again and again.
