Embellished pintuck top - Size S - This is the same silhouette as the BR origami blouse. The origami is silk and this top is cotton, which we love more since it's machine washable. Thumbs up. Comes in regular & tall and 4 colors.
V-neck cardigan - Size S - Brite nite is a beautiful, beautiful color. It's like an electric navy. I love that it's a v-neck, too. I've had an excellent experiences w/my ON cardis. Thumbs up on this. I think many of us could throw a few cardi parties in one week, but...don't they always get us with something that seems fresh? I think it only comes in regular or tall. I probably would try a XS to be sure because I definitely took an XS in a couple of v-neck cardigans I purchased a couple months ago.
Ruffled keyhole top - Size S - Huge! Old Navy's sizing has changed and it's just ridiculous. It's not vanity sized. It's more than that and it's just wrong. I hope they correct this. I liked the way the top looked around the neck (a little) and at the shoulders (a lot). Yep, it looks like a top by someone else from a couple years back. The keyhole is too wide & too low. You definitely need something under this. Unless you have other motivations. I'm wearing the same top above, also size S. The dots on that one are blue, not black.
Ballet flat - There are 7 color patterns. I only noticed full sizes in-store, but they run in half sizes, too. The 8 seemed to fit well. Ok, now I own a similar ballet flat by you know j'who and despite that they are leather and maaaaaaade in iiiiiiiitaly, they hurt my feet after not too many hours. These felt comfortable when I put my put into them. They also have a 1/2" heel and, therefore, aren't totally flat to the ground.
Not too much toe cleavage.
I don't see these online, but they were cute. The satin seemed nice and the jewels were cute and not tacky. Up close they're obviously faux, but people shouldn't be at your feet. Unless they're kissing them.
Sequin flat - I don't see it online. This looked like a slipper on me. Not impressed.
Ruffled wool-blend coat - Size S - Great color. I figured out what it is about ON wool coats. The wool feels thin and flat like a worn down carpet. I know that sounds bad, but it's just not plush.
This flared at the bottom, which was too bad. The jacket wants to fall open at the bottom. Going to a PM might solve that issue if I were getting this. Other than the stated criticisms, they got the ruffle and collar right. I can still get behind ON coats, though. If you need to be a little hard on your coat, pick one of these up. I probably wouldn't want to wear my pricier duds on the subway, BART or bus.
Ruffle-collar wool-blend jacket - Size XS - There was no S or M to try. Same issue w/the wool and this lighter color picked up some lint, but it wasn't awful. Coats are 50% off as of last nite (Fri), so this is definitely a good deal at $35. You'd pay about that for a coat from F21. I think they do coats a little better than ON, but some of the ON colors are great. This one rocks in-person, which explains why it's mostly sold out. If you liked the color of the Winnie from last year, you'd be into this.
Zip-neck tunic sweater - Size S - 40% polyester, 35% acrylic, 25% wool. Super cute. It was a bit shop worn. If only it had 40% cotton, instead of the poly.
Jersey-stretch tank - Size S - This tank feels soooo nice & smooth. It's ridiculously long, though. Thumbs up anyway.
Plaid wool-blend mini skirt - Size 6 - My first ever 80s female-commuter-in-white-hi-top-Reeboks flashback! I wasn't one of those women as I was too young, but I remember seeing them in-person, in magazines and in films. I was on my way to the gym. I just didn't feel like removing my shoes when I tried it on. The skirt looks much shorter on the hanger than on me, believe it or not. I like the bright color and the like stops there. The silhouette is all wrong for my figure. They were so busy trying to cut costs and make it short that it just came out wonky. WONK, WONK! I don't know what that means. Just wanted to say it. And while we're at it, what in the h-zell is Old Navy doing w/their sizing? It's just a mess. See polka dot keyhole top. Mess, mess, mess. They are brave to have user reviews. I hope they're taking notes.
Ruffle-tier jersey cardigan - I didn't see this in-person. On sale for $15 before ONWINTER. Something I would buy and might not wear from ON. Could be good if you want the look for a low price. Machine wash.
Also...
* Fabric fashion necklace - I like the pattern called blush, which has small, scattered jewels. * Faux-pearl cluster necklace - There are 2 faux-pearl necklaces. The cultura is similar to the Target faux pearl cluster necklace. But this one has rhinestones and fewer pearls. Could be cute.
* Faux-leather corsage tote - This looked pretty good in-person. The flowers are not removable, though.
* Fair Isle knit scarf - This looked pretty good in-person. Acrylic, of course. I saw a sign that said cold weather accessories were 50% off and I assume this is included.
