Forever 21 - 10% off today

Forever 21 has gone from offering no promos to having them on big holidays in recent times. It's usually 10% off. Now bumping it up to a hot 15% would really wet my whistle, but the clothes are so inexpensive as it is. It's nice to at least save on tax. Shipping is free everyday on a net $50 or more. The code for today's 10% off is 10JULY4 and should be good until 11:50 PST tonite. I was in F21 the other day, wondering if I'm getting too old for the store. I don't think I am because I don't wear it head-to-toe. I also usually don't wear it for work, although in some cases it would be ok. I've been shopping there since we were both young. I've grown up and I know their merch has, too. I think some of you who wore American Eagle and other college centric brands can relate. There's still a pull toward the store, even if you don't buy there regularly. At any rate, if I'm still shopping there when my daughter is old enough to go, they may finally take my "F21 card" away. Until then...

* animal spots tee - Cool print. Some of their other animal prints aren't as cool.
* assorted bangle set - I have a few of their bangle sets.
* faux stone pendant necklace - I've seen this in person a few times. Cute.
* batwing sweater top - Blogged about this one yesterday. I like it quite a bit. Runs one size large, imo.
* crackled faux stone necklace - This is the necklace I couldn't find yesterday. Me likey.

* wild feather earrings - I have some feather earrings. Mine are more tame, but I like these bright colors.
* cap sleeve cardigan - Saw this yesterday from mid-way in the store and really liked it. Nice weave on the sweater. Didn't like the print for me and I think the asymmetry was too exaggerated for me. 70s vibe, but updated feel.
* smocked maxi dress - Love F21s maxis. Most of them. This color is hawt.
* crochet trimmed maxi - Saw this on an SA and wanted to rip it and her denim vest off and take it home.

* bead variety necklace - Very pretty w/the mix of colors.
* striped dolman top - I wasn't impressed when I saw this in person. Simply too thin for me. Still like the stripes & slouchy cut, though.
* tie-dye stripes dress - F21 does a nice tie dye. This dress is cute. I have a maxi one in a similar color. See this one on Ema.
* classic polka dot dress - This is like the lone dress in their offerings that doesn't look absurdly short. Sometimes I can't believe the owners of F21 are Christian.

* cropped polka dot top - Super cute.
* two-tone crochet sweater - Sometimes the crochet look adds weight, but this is cute. Nice weave of colors.
* button back crochet top - Lots of lace being offered by F21, but this o
* ethnic print dress - Cute print. Short, of course.

* striped dolman top - I likes the stripe colors on this one.
* tribal jungle surplice top - If you have a nice back, you'll like the reverse on this top.
* leopard print top - Another good print. This one looks a bit warmer than the one above.
* embellished knit top - Love the cut. The beading looks ok to pretty good.

* leaves & stripes top - Looks potentially sheer, but I like the subtle print.
* faux crackled stone necklace - Similar to the one in the 1st set, but a little bigger stone. The chain is different on this one, too.
* tiered tie waist shirt - Can totally see this under a blazer. Of course we've seen tiers before.
* paisley knit top - Cute, cute print. Love the colors.


Two more things. Remember that F21 allows store credit only and within 21 days. Also, many of the garments are now hand wash. It beats dry cleaning, but still. I washed something in a top load washer and it shrunk. Those of you with front load washers that are cycling dry clean only items might have luck washing hand items in your washers. But if it works for you, you probably already knew that. ;)
