Talbots - a few cardis

Talbots extra 40% off Red Hanger sale continues in-store. The prices online are the same, reflecting the 40% off. Here are a few cardigans I tried on:

Floral beaded cardigan ($29.39 after 40%) - Size PS - This cardi looks related to the beaded floral sweater. This cardi is 60% cotton/40% rayon and although I didn't buy it, it was nice to see machine wash on this.

The colors are so pretty! There's another color version as well, I think with peach tones. The print just didn't work for me. The flowers look saggy. *lol*

French stripe cardi ($26.39 after 40%) - Size PS - 46% cotton/23% viscose/14% poly/9% nylon/8% metallic - Machine wash gentle!

The metallic is so pretty and I love stripes. I just didn't get 'the feeling.' I stood in the fitting room for awhile and then took it out to pair it w/various colored tops. It didn't speak to me. In fact, it was almost mute, so I left it at the store. It's a smokin' deal if it works for you.

It's more shimmery in-person, but not over the top.


Charming cardi ($25.79 after 40%) - Size XS - The silhouette is in the style of J Crew's Jackie cardi, but the cut is bigger. If you like the Jackie, this may feel a little big or matronly, even if you size down. If the Jackie feels too tight or doesn't give enough length, you might like the charming cardi. Check out the daffodil yellow. It's so lovely & bright! This cardi is mostly sold out online, but I saw at least 6 color choices or more in-store. There's also a matching crewneck, sleeveless sweater to create a twinset. Bring on the bees!

Belt: Old Navy 2010 (Bow belts here, here and here)

I highlighted some of the Red Hanger sale picks in this post and a 20% online code to try within that post. Online availability is sporadic as far as sizing, but I've seen many of the clothing items in-store as recently as the other day.

I love Talboteers! I can always count on the most excellent, up-to-date info from Talbots & their fans on the Talbots fan page. The following jacket is $20 in-store & online if you mention CHANNEL7 thru today (Fri, 7/8) This offer is good in stores outside of NY, NJ and CT, according to the Talbots Wizard.

ETA--> The code CHANNEL7 works online. You pay shipping, but even with that added on, the jacket is still under $30.
