J Crew's Mackintosh® Kilmany coat (39732, $950) runs XS - XL. Too bad didn't come in petite. I would consider sale stalking. This is a prime example of why many of us toil in the Crewniverse and continue the love/hate relationship. You start seeing some items that don't pass the F21 test, so you wander. Then they grab your attention w/a beauty like this that no one seems to have right now.

Ideeli - Calvin Klein boutique ($75) - Limited hours remain on this boutique. The red color is beautiful.

Nordstrom - Kristen Blake - This is pretty close. Although it's a wool blend, so it has a wintry feel, whereas the Macintosh is a raincoat. Also similar is the Tahari Nola, in regular sizes (2, 4, 10, 12, $99.90).

Nordstrom - Michael Kors - This doesn't excite me, personally, but I wanted to share it anyway.

Nordstrom - Gallery - This one is pretty cute. I still like the single breasted Macintosh, of course.


Anyone try/buy the Macintosh? You won't be buying it w/your spring fever card. You won't be buying a suit with the spring fever card, either. My guess is that people were going into the store w/the card and ordering the sizes that aren't available in-store (14, petite, tall) thru the red phone. It was definitely a great opportunity to order a suit in a size you would never see on sale in-store because it's only carried online. SQUASHED! And people wonder why there are certain things some of us don't want posted in the ether.
