Lots to love at Tal

While on The Mothership at the end of the weekend & noticed loooots of love for Talbots. I was thinking, someone should have a place where we can rave about Tal. And then I remembered I have a blog. (ba-dum-bump)

The general plan is to share a few cute things in this weekly post and then y'all can chime in with things you like. My Tal list has been running 7-15 items. I try to edit after I try on irl, but goodness I love their interpretations of the 50s. Those of you who are also attracted to that style will be happy to know it continues in Spring 2011. Here we go:

Windowpane plaid coat - One thing I love about shopping at Talbots is that it doesn't feel frenetic. I don't feel like I have to drive to the store asap to look for something and getitbeforitsellsoutandIseeitonEbayforhellamoneyomg! I could rattle off a few pieces from you know who that I did that for. Anyway, I tried this on a couple times before deciding to buy it. I'm so glad I did because I ended up with a PP instead of PS. Girlfriend looks pretty good below, but I have to say I might be a bit cuter in it. Oh yes I did! Irl pics to come.


Windowpane plaid skirt - Would totally not wear this with the jacket. Am very curious to see it irl. My store didn't have it as of last week. I noticed on facebook that people are liking these plaid pieces.

Bow-tied suede platforms - Not many sizes left, but you should know that Talbots updates their online inventory thruout the day. So at any point you could call in or look online and see that your item has popped back. Thanks, Desert Flower for that info!
