J Crew - misc sale notes (in-store)

A few in-store price notes and the irl pics, of course:

Silk & chiffon pleated tuxedo cami (28940, $29.99) - Size 2 - I've tried this on before and it just didn't do anything for me. It's pretty, but I don't need another dry clean item. It could be handwash, come to think of it, but still. I believe this was online and now sold out? Could be cute worn unbuttoned with a tank underneath and jewelry or just unbuttoned a bit w/jewelry.

Sofie ruffle cardigan (28997, $39.99) - Size XS - I am usually more comfortable in S, but decided this fits well. I imagine this is how Jenna's cardigan might fit and that a more cropped look is what they're going for. You don't want this hitting you too low & in the wrong place, i.e. hips. I've tried on the S and thought it was nice, but only on super sale. With the extra 30, I prefer and got this XS.

Pants (6P): Gap, looking like a too-big wrinkled mess, but I thought they looked rather cute in-person. 

Very comfortable. Similar here.

Montreaux cardigan (32325, $49.99) - Size S - The zipper will be cold if when you put it on. Small, unimportant fact. I liked this one quite a bit. This is one of those unique to JC colors. The code is GOL, which I assume is gold. The lady who did my colors would tsk, tsk and say this is all wrong, but I like it.

Vento tunic (33348, $29.99) - Size S - In-store & online prices are the same. I now see they styled it with a belt. That didn't even occur to me when I tried it because all I could think is somewhere, someone is going to sleep. They need this.

 I 'put on heels' and tried to imagine it with leggings and boots. Uh uhn...

Then the Celestial sleepy time bear popped into my head and wouldn't leave. So I left the tunic at the store.

I think for a net $20 will get some people very excited about the vento. If it were a fluid silk, that'd be a hassle for keeping cleaning & cleaning, but it would have a nice flow. I like the contrast at the placket and the pockets are a nice bonus, but make things a smidge poofy around that area because the top is cotton.
