Gigi A to Z

I've seen the A-Z post on a couple blogs and have resisted until now. I decided to do it because I haven't put a post up today. I always have stuff in the hopper, but I don't always have motivation. While I was blog surfing, I came across C's post on this. I like Cate & her blog Confessions of a Shopaholic Medical Student. I've been around for some her big life events and we've never even met. It's like watching a little sister meet her dream man and be on her way into her career and more, while cooking & shopping. Blogs are amazing. Now here's my Z...errr...A to Z. Hopefully I cleared out all of Cate's answers and put my own. *lol*

A. Age: 28. Awhile back and after forgetting my age a few times, I decided I'm 28 fo' life. G Money picked 27 so I can be w/a younger man. I'll have to return the sweetness and see if he wants his blog name changed. (I have since asked and he said no. Doesn't want to confuse you guys at this point. *lol*)

B. Bed size: Full. I am attached to large purchases that I bought for new, w/my own money. It's old now, but represents decision making and independence for me. I'm sure one day we'll get a bigger one. In the meantime, the size keeps us close in the nite.

C. Chore you dislike: Getting the clothes out of the dryer when the timer goes off. Point of contention in our house.

D. Dogs: We imagine what life would be like with one, but I'm not ready for the commitment. Plus, G Money said the dog would have to live outside. Are you kidding? I don't want it all over the furniture, but I couldn't stand the thought of it being cold either.

E. Essential start to your day: Breakfast. I have to have breakfast and it has to be breakfast foods. Before that I have to give thanks for the day, say blessings and give thanks for our home, and do my Qi Gong with Lee Holden. 

F. Favorite color: Oh gawd. Just one?

G. Gold or silver: Gold right now.

H. Height: I round up to 5'2". Heck I'm always in heels. I'm really 5'1 1/2" and hope I haven't shrunk over the years.

I. Instruments you play(ed): Piano. Air drums (most songs on La Sexorcisto and In the Air Tonight). I air guitar, but only during the Law & Order theme song as instructed by my in-house conductor.

J. Job title: Oh really. Do you think I'd give it up now? I will say that I absolutely love what I do. I've felt good in past occupations, but I literally get goosebumps on a regular basis as opposed to once in awhile. The lows are low, but it seems to be well worth it.

K. Kids: I have had my share of practice changing my sister's diaper when I was young and never let her forget it either. Clocked more hours her kids' diapers. My grandmother's too. After all that, I'm ready to do my own. Uh, that of my own child, to be specific.

L. Live: Ca

M. Mom’s name: Now she goes by Granny. My husband calls her that, too.

N. Nicknames: (skip)

O. Overnight hospital stays: None, surprisingly. I've always wondered what it'd be like, but I have a strong feeling I'm not missing anything.

P. Pet peeves: Ooh, this is good. People who call me when they're clearly in the middle of another task. I don't want to go thru McD's drive thru w/you and your kids or check out at the grocery store either. Call me when you really have a minute. I also very much dislike something about Facebook right now, but I forget what it is. Oh -- I know what it is. Old friends getting back in touch. After a couple online or in-person conversations, realizing I have nothing in common with them and don't even like them now. Guess it works both ways, come to think of it. Ouch.

Q. Quote from a movie: Billy Ray Valentine. Capricorn! If you know this without Googling it, I will love you forever.

R. Righty or lefty: Right. I've tried being left-handed and I'm not. Although I do try to brush my teeth as a lefty once in while and other things they claim will generate new brain cells. Or whatever. I forget.

S. Siblings: 2 bros, 1 sister

T. Time you wake up: Around 7:30a right now. But it's always based on what the next day brings and/or how late we've stayed up the nite before.

U. Underwear: Yes. Thank gawd no FB in the 90s where I was living a different movie.

V. Vegetables you don’t like: Brussel sprouts, celery.

W.What makes you run late: Me! I never give myself enough time to include things like my m/u minimum, which is concealer, powder & eyebrows. Notorious for leaving the house and forgetting something by the time I reach the car, so I have to go back to retrieve it.

X. X-rays you’ve had: Dental, foot and my back (chiro).

Y. Yummy food you make: Shrimp tacos & home baked tortilla chips. I also started making french toast bites. Ridic.
