Any Diane Von Furstenberg fans out there? If you love this Belgian-American fashion designer (best known, of course, for her iconic wrap dresses), then you should definitely check out her hew "ready to wear" home collection, first available exclusively at Bloomingdale's NYC flagship store and online. Right now, the collection includes bedding and dinnerware collections and features the designer's favored vibrant colors and large scale patterns, inspired by both modern art and nature. Here are some of my top picks from what's available online at Bloomingdale's so far (and, yes, it's very expensive...you might want to wait for sales):

Sun Stripe Bedding ($99.99-$335). Isn't this cheerfully retro? Kind of reminds me of my 1970s bedroom in Brooklyn, NY.


"Sandstone" Highball Glasses, Erawan Blue ($85 for a set of 4). The stone design is etched into the glass...beautiful.


"Powerstone" Square Tray ($125). This unique piece is handmade from brass with oil rubbed finish. It would make a great wedding gift for a couple whose taste runs more contemporary.
